Whether Uncle Paul ever truly knew how much he meant to us I don't know. He was one of very few people I would seek out for advice on major life decisions, car related advice or just help with DIY. He had a great sense of humour and always gave very frank advice, always wanting to make sure we were doing well, genuinely interested in how work was going and life in general. It was because of Paul that I finally bought our house and entered the next chapter in our life. Since we moved in it was lovely to have Paul and Linda down for many BBQs and family gatherings. I'm glad that we got to see Paul and Linda so much over the last few years, only wish I'd taken more photos. I have many happy memories over the last 38 years, from visiting on the weekend as kids, watching the first matches in the premier league and formula 1 back in Sheering, to meeting our daughter Elizabeth at the end of 2023. A great man and role model who will be very much missed.
